The radiation of these BL368 tubes is enhanced and highly powerful, with a peak at a wavelength of approximately 368 nm. The sensitivity of flying insects' eyes is generally close to this frequency, which means a 100% improvement in efficiency (at 368 nm). The decline in UV-A output over time is significantly lower (80% of original output at 5,000 operating hours, compared to 100 hours of initial output).
