Purpose of register
We collect personal data provided by the customer of the online store in order to manage the customer relationship. Providing personal information is a prerequisite for the creation of a contract. In other words, you cannot order products from our online store if you do not provide your personal information.
We also collect personal data for marketing purposes. Personal data can be used for customer relationship management and maintenance, customer service and online shopping business development, as well as advertising and direct marketing.
We keep personal data in our register for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes of use of the register or to comply with the law. According to the Personal Data Act, personal data is destroyed when the legal basis for its storage ceases. Some information can be stored longer than the time limits set by law, if it is necessary, for example, in handling accounting and warranty and complaint matters related to consumer trade.
What information do we collect?
The register stores all the information that is given to us by the customer during the purchase transaction or when creating a user ID, such as:
- Name
- Address
- Other contact information such as email and phone number
- E-mail address and certificate used for login in logins via social media
- Order history (e.g. ordered products, product color, size/weight and price)
- Information given in the additional information field of the order
- Delivery and payment method used
- Shipment tracking information
- Product reviews made by the customer
- Online store usage and browsing information
- Product recommendation and other information and identifiers used for targeted content
NOTE!
We transfer some necessary personal data to third parties, such as our partners operating in the fields of logistics, banking, payment brokerage, accounting and information technology, to enable the order-delivery process and for marketing. When buying with invoice/credit, your information is also passed on to the company providing the service.
If necessary, we also hand over information to the authorities when they request it. We will also notify the customer of the authorities' requests for information, if it is permitted by law.
The customer has the right:
- check your personal information
- for data correction
- to restrict processing (for example, you can deny marketing)
- oppose processing
- revoke consent (for example, you can withdraw your consent to marketing)
- make a complaint about incomplete or illegal processing to the supervisory authority (www.tietosuoja.fi)
