G23 Socket Lamps – Compact Fluorescent Lamps for Home and Commercial Use

G23 is a two-pole socket lamp that is widely used in various lighting fixtures in households, offices, hotels and public spaces. It is identified by its narrow, fork-shaped double-pole base – the base is 2-pole (2P) and has a diameter of 24.5 mm.

What is a G23 bulb used for?

Compact fluorescent lamps with a G23 base are typically found in table lights, wall lights, bathroom mirror lights, and small ceiling lights. Many bedside lamps and office lights also use this base.

How do I choose the right G23 bulb?

Three things matter: power, color temperature and length. In our selection you will find wattages of 5W, 7W, 9W and 11W – of which 7W and 9W are the most common replacement options for older 9W and 11W fluorescent lamps. The color temperatures range from warm white (2700K) to daylight (6500K), so there is something for both home mood lighting and office task lighting.

Before buying, also make sure of the length of the lamp: in our selection you will find dimensions of 108 mm, 135 mm, 165 mm and 235 mm. You can usually find the length on the side of the old lamp or in the lamp's instruction manual.
