The Sylvania Platinum Retro DIM is a premium LED lamp for GU10 bases. With a power output of 2 W, the lamp produces 350 lm of light and replaces a traditional 50 W halogen lamp. Its CRI 80–89 color rendering offers natural light, and a 50,000-hour lifespan ensures long durability. Dimmable — you can connect it to an LED-compatible dimmer. A beam angle of 36° makes this an excellent choice for accent lighting.

Premium quality — CRI 80–89
The Sylvania Platinum Retro DIM series belongs to Sylvania's premium range. A CRI of 80–89 is significantly better than the basic series' CRI 80 — colors are reproduced more naturally, and red and skin tones, in particular, appear more pleasant. This is well-suited for retail, exhibition, and home use where color accuracy is important.
Long lifespan — 50,000 hours
A lifespan of 50,000 hours is significantly longer than Sylvania's basic series (15,000 h). This means less frequent replacement needs and lower maintenance costs — especially in locations where changing lamps is difficult (high ceilings, public spaces). The manufacturer offers a 5-year warranty.
Direct replacement for 50W halogen
The dimensions (Ø 50 × 54 mm) and base (GU10) are standard for halogen, so the lamp fits directly in place of an old halogen without modifications.
Beam angle 36° — accent light
36° is a typical GU10 accent light angle. It is suitable, for example, for lighting artworks, shelves, or countertops. If you need a wider general light, choose a lamp with a 110° beam angle (e.g., RefLED ES50 6.2W).
Dimming
This is a dimmable LED lamp. Use an LED-compatible dimmer for best results — old halogen dimmers may work but can cause flickering or a limited adjustment range.
