The Ledvance Surface Slim SQ 200 is a durable and energy-efficient LED wall light for indoor and outdoor use. Its polycarbonate construction and IK10 impact resistance make it an excellent choice for corridors, stairwells, entrances, and demanding environments. Motion and twilight sensor

The luminaire has a built-in sensor that combines motion detection and a twilight switch. The light turns on when the sensor detects movement and automatically turns off after a moment once the movement stops. The twilight detection prevents the light from turning on unnecessarily in daylight. This is an energy-efficient solution for corridors, stairwells, and entrances.

Durable construction — for indoor and outdoor use

The luminaire's housing and diffuser are made of UV-protected polycarbonate, and the impact resistance class is IK10 — the highest commonly used class. IP65 protection withstands dust and water jets, making the luminaire suitable for both indoor and outdoor walls: corridors, stairwells, entrances, warehouses, and damp areas.

Tool-free installation

The luminaire has spring terminals, which allow for quick and tool-free connection of electrical wires. Mounting screws and plugs are included in the package. Electrical connections may only be performed by a qualified electrician.

The LED light source is fixed

The LED part of the luminaire cannot be replaced separately — the entire luminaire is a single, integrated unit. This is typical for modern LED luminaires. The lifespan is 50,000 hours, which corresponds to several years of normal use.

Energy saving

How do a light's motion and twilight sensor work?

The luminaire has a built-in sensor that combines two functions:

  • Dusk detection: the light only turns on in dim light — in daylight, the sensor keeps the light off even if there is motion

No, you cannot. The LED light source of the Surface Slim luminaire is an integral part of the luminaire and cannot be replaced separately like a traditional bulb. The entire luminaire is one integrated unit.

How much energy does Surface Slim save compared to a fluorescent light?
