What is the difference between the Sylvania ToLEDo, ToLEDo Superia and ToLEDo Ultra Output Platinum series?

Sylvania offers a three-tiered T8 LED hierarchy, differentiated by durability and luminous efficacy:

  • ToLEDo (basic): lifespan approx. 30,000–50,000 h, luminous efficacy 100–130 lm/W, most affordable option.
  • ToLEDo Superia (premium): lifespan approx. 50,000–70,000 h, luminous efficacy 130–170 lm/W, improved color rendering.
  • ToLEDo Ultra Output Platinum (top-tier): lifespan 100,000 h, luminous efficacy 210 lm/W, 200,000 switching cycles, dual compatibility (CCG + AC).

The Ultra Output Platinum is particularly suitable for demanding professional applications where reliability and long lifespan are crucial: hospitals, supermarkets with long opening hours, industry, railway stations, and other maintenance-free sites. The price is the highest, but the cost per operating hour is the lowest.

What does CCG stand for, and does it also work with electronic HF accessories?

CCG = Conventional Control Gear = perinteinen magneettinen kuristin. T8 LED-putkien yhteensopivuustyypit:

  • CCG (magneettinen kuristin): tämä Sylvania toimii — sytytin pitää vaihtaa LED-yhteensopivaan

How does a 100,000-hour lifespan affect the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)?

Why does the 4000K variant produce more light than the 6500K?
