The Ecoplus T5 LED HF tube is an energy-efficient replacement for traditional 8W T5 fluorescent tubes. Only 4W power and 470 lumens of natural white 4000K light with a 270° beam angle. Designed especially for luminaires equipped with high-frequency ballasts (HF / ECG) — suitable for both general lighting and emergency lighting systems.

Compatibility and Installation
Requires an electronic ballast (HF / ECG)
This T5 LED tube only works with electronic high-frequency ballasts (HF / ECG / EVSA). Old magnetic chokes and separate starters are not compatible — the lamp will not light up or may be damaged. Check that the ballast is electronic before replacing the lamp in the luminaire.

G5 base — double-ended fitting
The G5 base of T5 fluorescent tubes is double-ended. Both ends of the lamp have a 2-pin connector that fits into the luminaire's holders. Not to be confused with the G13 base of T8 fluorescent tubes, which is larger and only fits T8 luminaires.
Suitable for emergency lighting systems
This lamp is compatible with emergency lighting systems, where it operates with both normal current and backup battery power. A professional installer performs the installation into the emergency light luminaire — backup power tests and certification are required as part of the property's emergency lighting system.
This lamp is not dimmable
Do not install the lamp in a luminaire equipped with a dimmer. The lamp may flicker, stay on at full power, or be damaged.
Operating temperature −20 °C – +40 °C
The lamp operates over a wide temperature range, making it suitable for both indoor use and protected outdoor installations. Check the luminaire's own IP rating if installation is in a damp environment.

- Check that the luminaire has an electronic ballast (HF or ECG)
- Check that the base is G5 (T5 fluorescent tube), not G13 (T8 fluorescent tube)
- Check that the lamp length of 288 mm fits the luminaire
- Check that the luminaire does not have a dimmer
- For emergency lighting systems, installation is always performed by a professional electrician
