Compatibility and installation
Asymmetrical light distribution — what it's suitable for
The Kalani ASYM model features asymmetrical light distribution (65° × 120°). Asymmetrical optics direct light forward and downwards, ensuring even illumination of the surface and preventing glare. This is particularly suitable for:
- Illuminating facades and wall surfaces
- Illuminating entrances and doorways
- Illuminating outdoor areas and pathways
- Illuminating advertising signs and guidance panels
Installation methods
The floodlight is supplied as a ready-to-install package, including a 1-meter connection cable (3 × 1.0 mm²) and an adjustable mounting bracket:
- Wall or surface mounting: the mounting bracket is screwed to the wall or ceiling surface
- Pole mounting: possible with an optional pole bracket
The mounting bracket allows the luminaire to be tilted up and down, enabling precise adjustment of the light angle.
Electrical connection — protection class I
The luminaire is protection class I, meaning it requires protective earthing. Electrical connection may only be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with current regulations. The connection cable is pre-wired, so only the supply cable needs to be connected during installation.
Not dimmable
The floodlight is supplied with a non-dimmable LED driver. Do not connect it to a dimmer — when connected to a dimmer, the luminaire may flicker or be damaged.
Durable construction — also for sports halls
The aluminum body and IK08 impact resistance make the luminaire durable. The luminaire has been tested for ball impact resistance according to standards DIN 57710-13 and DIN 18032-3, making it suitable for sports and leisure facilities. The permissible ambient temperature is −30 °C – +50 °C.
Installation checklist

- Turn off the power at the main switch before installation
- Attach the mounting bracket to the wall, ceiling, or pole
- Have an electrician connect the supply cable with protective earthing
- Adjust the tilting angle of the luminaire as desired
