110-volt bulbs are rarely needed in Finland, but when the need arises, they cannot be found in a regular store. This frosted E27 incandescent bulb is designed for 110-volt voltage: applications include devices and machines with their own 110-volt supply, as well as imported equipment and assemblies built for export destinations. The frosted glass softens the light and hides the filament.

Base E27 · 60 W · 110 V · 2500 K (very warm) · frosted · GLS 60 x 105 mm

Note on voltage: this bulb is a 110-volt model. It is not directly compatible with the Finnish 230-volt mains – usage requires a 110-volt power supply or a device intended for it. The wrong voltage will destroy the bulb immediately.

Order product: delivery time approximately 3–5 weeks.

Technical specifications

  • Power: 60 W
  • Color temperature: 2500 K (very warm white)

Compatibility and installation

The E27 base and 60 x 105 mm dimensions are standard size, so the bulb physically fits in the same place as a regular E27 incandescent bulb. The decisive difference is the voltage: this bulb expects 110 volts.

  1. Verify from the device or luminaire rating plate that the supply voltage is 110 V.
  2. Check the old bulb for a 110 V or 120 V marking.
  3. If the destination is a regular 230-volt mains, choose a 230-volt bulb instead.
  4. Switch off the power and let the old bulb cool down before replacing it.

Brightness is not stated in lumens in the product specifications, so we do not guarantee an exact light output. Connections related to voltage conversion should be handled by a qualified electrician. You can find options suitable for regular 230-volt mains in the E27 LED bulbs category.

Usein kysytyt kysymykset

Can a 110-volt bulb be used in a 230-volt outlet in Finland?

It cannot. The mains voltage in Finland is 230 V, and a 110-volt lamp will burn out almost immediately. Usage requires a device or system with a 110 V supply voltage, or a separate voltage transformer. The sizing and connection of the transformer must be handled by a qualified electrician.

What is a 110-volt light bulb needed for?

Typical applications include imported machinery and equipment with an internal 110-volt supply, ships and vehicles, custom-built instruments, and equipment built for export that will be connected to 110-volt networks. While the need is rare in households, it is real within the base of equipment in use.

What does a color temperature of 2500 Kelvin mean?

2500 K is a very warm light, clearly yellower and softer than standard 2700 Kelvin incandescent light. It resembles the tone of a dimmed light bulb or a candle. The light feels peaceful and atmospheric, but it is not the best choice for precise work or color evaluation.

What is the difference between matte and clear glass?

Frosted glass is etched, meaning the filament is not visible and the light diffuses softly in every direction. In a clear bulb, the filament is visible and the light is sharper, which creates harsher shadows but also sparkle in, for example, a crystal chandelier. A frosted bulb is generally more pleasant when the bulb remains visible.
