The Sylvania ToLEDo Ultra Output Platinum is a top-tier T8 LED tube that replaces the traditional 58W T8 fluorescent tube. A 100,000-hour service life and 210 lm/W efficiency make this a reliable choice for demanding professional use — offices, supermarkets, industrial facilities, and maintenance-free applications. Works with both magnetic ballasts (CCG) and direct 230V mains voltage.

T8 G13 base. CCG OR AC installation (depending on the installation method, requires a starter or wiring modification).

What is the difference between the Sylvania ToLEDo, ToLEDo Superia and ToLEDo Ultra Output Platinum series?

Sylvania offers a three-tiered T8 LED hierarchy, differentiated by durability and luminous efficacy:

  • ToLEDo (basic): lifespan approx. 30,000–50,000 h, luminous efficacy 100–130 lm/W, most affordable option.
  • ToLEDo Superia (premium): lifespan approx. 50,000–70,000 h, luminous efficacy 130–170 lm/W, improved color rendering.
  • ToLEDo Ultra Output Platinum (top-tier): lifespan 100,000 h, luminous efficacy 210 lm/W, 200,000 switching cycles, dual compatibility (CCG + AC).

The Ultra Output Platinum is particularly suitable for demanding professional applications where reliability and long lifespan are crucial: hospitals, supermarkets with long opening hours, industry, railway stations, and other maintenance-free sites. The price is the highest, but the cost per operating hour is the lowest.

What does CCG stand for, and does it also work with electronic HF accessories?

CCG = Conventional Control Gear = perinteinen magneettinen kuristin. T8 LED-putkien yhteensopivuustyypit:

  • Vaihtoehtoinen tuote: tutustu valikoimaamme T8 LED-putket jossa on HF-yhteensopivia malleja

How does a 100,000-hour lifespan affect the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)?

Pitkä käyttöikä on tämän tuotteen tärkein taloudellinen valtti. Vertaa kokonaiskustannuksia (Total Cost of Ownership, TCO) 24 h/päivä jatkuvassa käytössä 10 vuoden aikana:

  • 58W T8 loisteputki: ~87 600 h käyttöä, vaatii noin 4–7 lampun vaihtoa (käyttöikä 12 000–24 000 h per lamppu). Energiankulutus 5 081 kWh/lamppupositio.
  • Tavallinen T8 LED (käyttöikä 30 000 h): ~87 600 h käyttöä, vaatii noin 3 lampun vaihtoa. Energiankulutus 1 489 kWh/lamppupositio (jos 17W).
  • Tämä Ultra Output Platinum (käyttöikä 100 000 h): ~87 600 h käyttöä, ei tarvitse yhtään vaihtoa 10 vuoden aikana. Energiankulutus 1 489 kWh/lamppupositio.

Why does the 4000K variant produce more light than the 6500K?

Sylvania ToLEDo Ultra Output Platinum -sarjassa on kuitenkin:

  • 4000K: 3 570 lm (paras valotehokkuus)
  • 6500K: 3 330 lm

Syyt tähän erikoiseen suunnitteluun:

  • 4000K on yleisin ammattikäytössä — Sylvania on optimoinut LED-binningin tälle sävylle maksimaalisen tehokkuuden takaamiseksi
