This powerful double-ended R7s halogen lamp provides 16,500 lumens and is suitable for high-output floodlights and similar applications. The lamp operates directly on 240 V mains voltage in R7s holders. The length is 189 mm — ensure that the fixture is specifically for this length, as different R7s lengths are not interchangeable. Additionally, ensure that the fixture can withstand 1000 watts of power and intense heat.

Installation checklist:

Which bulb does this replace?

This is a 1000W R7s halogen lamp (240V, 189mm) that replaces a corresponding old high-wattage R7s halogen. It provides 16,500 lumens and is suitable for high-power floodlights and similar applications.

Does this fit all R7s lamps?

Suitable if the lamp's R7s length is 189 mm and the luminaire is rated for 1000 watts. R7s lamps come in several different lengths and are not interchangeable. Measure your old lamp or check the luminaire markings before ordering.

Is there an LED alternative for this?

Not at this power level. R7s LED bulbs only reach a fraction of the 16,500 lumens of light output, so they do not replace a 1000-watt halogen in a high-power floodlight. For an application like this, halogen remains the only R7s option.

Can the lamp glass be touched during installation?

No. Do not touch the lamp's quartz glass with bare fingers. Skin oils leave a mark on the glass that heats up during use and can shorten its service life. Handle the lamp with a cloth or gloves.
