The Osram Halopin is a 240-volt G9 halogen lamp that provides a warm 2700 Kelvin light for standard G9 fixtures, such as wall, ceiling, and mirror lights. The lamp operates directly on mains voltage without a transformer and is dimmable with a standard dimmer. If you want lower energy consumption, LED lamps are also available for the same G9 base.

Compatibility and installation
The lamp operates directly on 240 V mains voltage in a standard G9 socket and does not require a transformer. The halogen is dimmable with a standard dimmer.

Installation checklist:
- Check that the fixture has a G9 base (two-pin base).
- Switch off the power and allow the old lamp to cool down before replacing it.
- Do not touch the glass with bare fingers; use a cloth or gloves.
- Push the lamp pins straight into the socket and ensure a secure fit.
