This G9 LED lamp replaces a 24-watt halogen capsule with just 2 watts and fits directly into standard G9 fixtures — for example, wall, bathroom, and ceiling lights, as well as small chandeliers. The neutral 4000 Kelvin light is crisp and well-suited for kitchens, bathrooms, and workspaces. The lamp provides 245 lumens in all directions (360°) and operates directly on 230 V mains without a transformer.

Compatibility and installation

The lamp operates directly on 220–240 V mains voltage in a standard G9 socket and does not require a separate transformer. The lamp is non-dimmable, so do not use it in a light fixture controlled by a dimmer.

Installation checklist:

  1. Check that the fixture has a G9 socket (two-pin base).
  2. Turn off power to the fixture and let the old halogen cool down before replacing.
  3. Ensure the fixture is not controlled by a dimmer — this lamp is not dimmable.
  4. Push the lamp pins straight into the socket and ensure the lamp sits securely.

Which light bulb does this replace?

This 2W G9 LED lamp replaces a traditional 24W G9 halogen lamp. It provides 245 lumens of neutral white 4000K light and fits the same G9 fixtures. The LED uses a fraction of the power of a halogen, generates less heat, and lasts longer.

Does this fit anything other than G9 bases?

No. This bulb has a G9 base (a two-pin base), so it only fits G9 sockets. Note that a G9 bulb operates directly on 230 V mains voltage and does not require a transformer — do not confuse it with a 12 V G4 bulb. Please check your light fixture's base before purchasing.

How much energy will I save compared to halogen?

This lamp uses 2 watts and replaces a 24-watt halogen, so energy consumption drops by approximately 92 percent while providing the same amount of light. The LED also produces less heat and lasts significantly longer than a halogen, so the lamp needs to be replaced less frequently.

Can this lamp be dimmed?

No. This model is not dimmable, so do not install it in a luminaire or circuit controlled by a dimmer. Using a dimmer may cause the bulb to flicker, hum, or become damaged. If you need a dimmable G9 bulb, please select a model specifically marked as dimmable.
