The Sylvania Retro DIM is a premium-level LED lamp for GU10 sockets. With a power of 3.7 W, the lamp produces 345–360 lm of light and replaces a traditional 50 W halogen lamp. The CRI 90 color rendering offers natural light, and a lifespan of 25,000 hours ensures long durability. Dimmable — you can connect it to an LED-compatible dimmer. A beam angle of 36° makes this an excellent choice for accent lighting.

Compatibility and installation
Premium quality — CRI 90
The Sylvania Retro DIM series belongs to Sylvania's premium collection. CRI 90 is significantly better than the basic series' CRI 80 — colors are rendered more naturally, and especially red and skin tones look more pleasing. This is well suited for retail, exhibition, and home use where color accuracy is important.
Long lifespan — 25,000 hours
The 25,000-hour lifespan is significantly longer than Sylvania's basic series (15,000 h). This means less frequent replacement and lower maintenance costs — especially in locations where lamp replacement is difficult. The manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty.
Direct replacement for 50W halogen
The dimensions (Ø 50 × 54 mm) and base (GU10) comply with the halogen standard, so the lamp fits directly in place of an old halogen without modifications.
Beam angle 36° — spotlight
36° is a typical GU10 spotlight angle. Suitable for lighting artworks, shelves, or work surfaces, for example. If you need wider general lighting, choose a lamp with a 110° beam angle (e.g., RefLED ES50 6.2W).
Dimming
This is a dimmable LED lamp. Use an LED-compatible dimmer for the best results — old halogen dimmers may work but can cause flickering or a limited adjustment range.
Color temperature selection
- 2700K (warm): very warm white — incandescent-like ambiance
- 3000K (warm white): cozy and relaxing
- 4000K (neutral white): clear and supportive for working
