The Tungsram LED Candle DIM is a dimmable LED candle bulb with an E27 base — a rare combination that is especially suitable for old wall lamps, floor lamps, and chandeliers with an E27 base but requiring a narrower bulb than a traditional pear-shaped bulb. With a diameter of only 35 mm and a power of 4.2 W, it replaces a traditional 40W E27 incandescent bulb. The warm 2700K light (470 lm) is suitable for general household lighting and ambient lighting.

Compatibility and installation
E27 + candle shape — a rare combination
Most candle bulbs (Candle, C35) are E14-based — this is the industry standard. The Tungsram LED Candle DIM stands out because it is an E27-based candle bulb, which is a rarer but useful combination. Applications:
- Old wall lamps and floor lamps with an E27 base but where the lampshade restricts the bulb's diameter
- Chandeliers and decorative lights with an E27 base where a candle shape is needed instead of a traditional pear shape
- Vintage-style luminaires where the candle shape fits the aesthetic
- Situations where a standard 60 mm wide A60 LED does not fit into the luminaire
Operates directly on 230V mains voltage
This Tungsram LED bulb is a standard E27 bulb that connects directly to household 230V mains voltage — no separate transformer or ballast is needed. Installation is simple: screw the bulb into the lamp holder and switch on the power.
Dimensions — check suitability for your luminaire
The bulb dimensions are Ø35 × 95 mm. This is:
- Narrow in diameter — suitable for most lampshades and narrow luminaires
- Standard in length — corresponds to the standard dimensions of candle bulbs
Check that the luminaire has space for the bulb's length and that the base is E27 (not E14). If the lampshade opening is less than 35 mm, the bulb will not fit — check the dimensions before ordering.
Dimmable with LED dimmers
This bulb is dimmable with LED-compatible dimmers. An old incandescent dimmer might also work, but the best result is achieved with a modern LED dimmer, designed for low power and stable operation.
