Osram Powerstar E40 HQI-E is a metal-halide lamp, i.e. gas discharge lamp with Powerstart quartz technology, for use, especially for compact optical lamps with high efficiency. This lamp has an excellent color reproduction of 90-99 Ra and a UV filter that prevents objects from becoming colored. This is particularly important, as these lamps are mainly used in shop windows, restaurants, sales premises and entrances, where the lamps are easily replaceable. If the lamps are installed in closed luminaires, they can also be used, for example, in road and industrial lighting.
